The 2023 edition of the Most Influential marks our 2nd publication of this one-off following its introduction in 2021. It's the third time we've polled the public for this list, with the 2nd list of winners appearing in 2022's Coin World Annual.

In 2020 Coin World magazine celebrated it's 60th year.
And in celebration of this milestone, we chose to celebrate instead the numismatists whose presence holds sway over the entire hobby.
We chose to do this with a special publication, included for free to all subscribers of Coin World magazine as a THANK YOU for your support. The Most Influential issue was born.
And so, in 2020 we set out to identify the most influential people around.
We turned to our vast network of dealers, collectors, auctioneers and more to help identify lists of individuals whose names we'd put up to a public vote.
And then we invited you to cast your ballots.
And you did.
The results were overwhelming, but when the dust settled, the most influential were left standing.
In early 2021, we brought this issue to life featuring the most influential living numismatists -- according to you. All born out in the glory of 164 pages in this epic one-time publication.
